Behind the photographs
The road has always been part of the picture.
I’m Gio, a São Paulo-born, Vancouver-based creative. I moved to Canada in 2016, and photography became a way to hold on to the landscapes, weather and small encounters that made this place feel like home.
One chapter took me more than 25,000 kilometres across nine provinces in a camper van named Vanilla. The mountains, lakes, winter roads and quiet in-between moments from that journey still shape how I look at the world.
